"Ever since I was a kid I've always been fascinated with automatic watches. I remember staring at the back of my dad's old Seiko for hours just watching the rotor swing. The idea that something mechanical and so precise could be self powered through your movements just absolutely blew my mind.
With that being said I couldn't have been more excited when Bill McDowell from McDowell Time reached out about creating a watch together. Since 2016, his microbrand has been building high quality time pieces in our hometown of Rockville MD.
We spent many hours going back and forth on the design elements for this watch. All things were considered such as color, hands and dial layout. Together we are proud to introduce "The Wanderer" timepiece, a Swiss movement watch protected by 316L stainless steel that will withstand the rigors of travel and tour. It features a custom sandwich dial that creates additional depth to the watch face due to the multiple layers. Limited edition to 100 pieces, each watch is individually numbered and hand built to order with a choice of stainless steel bracelet or a black Barton silicone strap."
McDowell Time is an American watch company located in Rockville, Maryland. With a firm belief in American craftsmanship, each McDowell Time watch is assembled in the United States.
